 .22 Rifle Team Competition

May 3, 2008

Teams:

Teams consist of one ( 1 ) adult and one ( 1 ) juvenile.

Juvenile must be 8 through 14 years of age.

Registration: 11:00am- 12:30pm

Rules, Regulation and Firearms Inspection: 12:30pm

Rifle team competition will begin at 1:00pm

Entry Fee:

$30.00 per team.

Spectators are FREE!

Winnings:

1st Place--- 25% of entry fees

2nd Place--- 10% of entry fees

3rd Place--- 5% of entry fees

Targets:

Reactive targets will be used for juveniles.

Rules:

Adult competitors must be 18yrs and up.

Juvenile competitors must be 8yrs to 14yrs old.

.22 caliber rifles only.

Scopes are allowed.

100 rounds of ammunition for competition.  

All rifles must be factory.

Light or Heavy barrel.

Teams may use the same rifle.

Teams shall use rifle rest and benches which will be supplied by

River Road Range.

***All rules are not listed. Rules and regulations will be read aloud at 12:30pm to all competitors and spectators.***

***All competitors will have time to fire their weapon prior to the competition.***

***PIG ROAST***

June 13th and 14th, 2008

River Road Range and the Rockcastle County Sheriff's Office

will be hosting a pig roast for the Rockcastle County Fire Departments.

Serving Time: 

June 13th---- From 5pm until 8pm

June 14th---- From 12pm until 8pm

Come out and support the Rockcastle Fire Departments.

Tickets:

$12.00 per person

Age(s) 10 and under are FREE!

Tickets will be sold and prizes will be drawn.

 River Road Range is closed to the public at this time for repairs. Special events or classes are the only things allowed for the public.

Range Hours: 11:00am - 7:00pm (unless otherwise specified)

Range Days Open: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays.

Range will be closed on Wednesdays, and Sundays (unless otherwise specified)

Handgun Range: The handgun range is open on all four days. Opens at 11:00am - 7:00pm Mondays, Tuesday, Fridays. and Saturdays. (unless otherwise specified)

Shotguns, Rifles and Muzzleloaders: May be shot upon the 50yrd handgun range.

The 100yrd- 200yrd range is still under construction. We apologize.

Shotguns, Rifles and Muzzleloaders may be fired upon the range at this time up to 50yrds.

*** Competition Shoots and Special Events: Cowboy Action Shoots, Clay Targets, Handguns, Muzzle loaders and BB Guns.

*** Cowboy, Fire and Police Department cook-offs. All proceeds for Fire and Police Department cook- offs will be given back to the departments for purchase of equipments.

** All Competition Shoots and Special Events will be announced. **
