Note from the owner: 

   Hello, I am the owner of RIVER ROAD RANGE and I am proud to be able to bring a range to Rockcastle County.  I grew up in Kentucky and I have always enjoyed firearms ever since I was a little boy, my father would take me hunting and fishing but, I was drawn to (hunting) firearms.  I can remember my father helping me hold a .22 caliber rifle while we shot at popcans.  Those days will always stay with me.  It was good times.

   RIVER ROAD RANGE is non-profit.  We use the membership fees and competitions fees to upgrade the firing range and we help parents/ guardians with teaching their childeren of firearms safety.  All children classes and courses are 100% free.  We travel to different cities, doing FREE kids indentification cards for parents/guardians and we instruct a firearms safety course.

   RIVER ROAD RANGE conducts several firearms courses which are not shown on our website because we do not have enough room to list them all.  If there is a certain type of training you are interested in, please contact us by e-mail from the "Contact Us" page and let us know the training you are wanting to receive.  

   Firearms are very dangerous and many people do not have a safe place to fire their weapons.  I am proud to be able to build a range where you can come, fire your weapons and have a safe and enjoyable time doing so.

   I have been told by several people that they are afraid of firearms.  I am here to tell you, if you are afraid of firearms, maybe you would like to learn more about firearms in one of our scheduled classes and we have some of the best Instructors that can instruct you about firearms and would enjoy helping you to understand firearms.

   I am building the range to bring something to your whole family.  Do you have a child?  Think about bringing them to the range when we have the BB Guns shoots competitions or enroll them in a firearm safety course.
